Additionally, after sending an email to the www.frankmills.com website, his management wrote back informing me that a couple of years ago a book with two audio CDs 'Piano Fun' was released which contains the piece in both C and C#, and on the CDs there is the full piece, plus another track minus the piano part.

By that time I was really good at playing in C# and it had become my go to key and that's how it happened. I wrote several songs in that key until my publisher of sheet music said to stop it because no one can play anything in C#! If you are a pianist play MBD in C and in C#. Perhaps it's because the black keys are elevated ( and there are more of them than white notes in that key) but you might agree it's easier in the latter.
