PRICE Adobe Acrobat Reader is free. By downloading, you agree to the Terms of Use at More. After the June 8, 2016 update, I get persistent 'system error detected' notifications while using the app. I can still read documents, but the notifications coming every time I scroll make it practically unusable, so I will be using a different app until this is fixed. ETA: I found a workaround for the annoying system error notifications. I turned off notifications for Adobe reader in my phone settings, so now I can use the app without bothersome notifications.

However, I will not be giving a better rating, as I shouldn't have to use workarounds to make the app usable in the first place. ETA 2: it seems that the latest update has fixed the 'system error' notifications, so I have adjusted my rating to reflect that. Now the app works correctly and does what I need it to do.

By vhdave Update: Adobe! Thanks for listening to me. It’s fixed on my end. And it’s users like me who forget that every little thing on software takes a human touch. And it needs to be perfect or people like me will complain.

Thanks for updating this, it great! 👍 Why is it every time I open a document in the adobe app it walks me through a 4 step getting started menu? This happens at least once a week, then I need to find the document I’m using out of the long list. I understand the getting started menu when you update the app or when it’s brand new. But I am seeing this all the time. It’s an unnecessary extra step.
